We are opening up a new coffee and tea shop called Long Beach Coffee & Tea and need help with our company signage. We have the idea of a coffee cup pouring a rainbow, and a couple different ways of incorporating that. 1. (see current signage on building attached) We could have the circle logo with Long Beach on top and Coffee & Tea on bottom, then the long name spelled out. In the middle of the circle logo we could have a coffee cup pouring out a rainbow somehow, spilling into the letters. 2. Have Long Beach Coffee & Tea longways with a coffee cup above pouring out a rainbow over the letters (just through part of the lettering, not the entirety of the name). 3. Same as above, but make the O in Long Beach a coffee cup and a rainbow pouring into it Also, we would like a white backdrop for the lettering with the rainbow colors (current signage is black, and we do not like that) Feel free to get creative, and provide suggestions. This location is at the heart of an LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual) community so we want to appeal to that by incorporating the rainbow. We also have the long term plan of marketing ourselves elsewhere (t-shirts, coffee cups, etc.) so having a universal logo for our company is important. We will extend this work to whomever sees our vision.

i have several ideas based on your description. Playing multiple colors on a signage/logo can be tricky, so we should discuss more to get a way around it. budget on how you will implement the design also play a role here - if you were on budget. Just for sharing, I also running my own coffee shop in Indonesia, so when I decided on how the signage will be, the first thing come to mind is how much i want to spend on it (materials, lighting, colors, size - all that cost factors). This way, I can produce the design that actually match the real thing. in general, i will give you several basic designs to consider and then we'll work from there till everything fits you desire :) have a nice day.
