I have a Miami, Florida Automotive 80's themed Youtube channel called "The 305 Garage". On this channel, I test, review, work on, and have fun filming cars both old and new. I want a logo and channel art work design that depicts that Miami 80's car theme and vibe. I want to capture the old school essence of the "Miami Vice" feel, but have it also be original.
I also need a high res version of this logo that I will be able to use in my video's. I'm currently using Final Cut Pro for my editing software. Below are some ideas of the essence I want to capture in my logo, and channel art work. Please note that this logo needs to be cool, but also somewhat simple, as I later plan on doing merchandising. Things such as T-Shirts, Hat's, and general fan type products. This logo needs to be able to show well on clothing and merchandise items. I also will need a small transparent "water mark" style version of this logo to place in my video's.
Regarding the channel art work, it needs to have some sort of Miami skyline essence added to it. I also have some pics of cars that I can send to incorporate in the channel art. Keep in mind this is for Youtube, so the art work has to be optimized to show well on all platforms, specifically mobile platforms. The attached files are just some basic starting ideas of how I want the feel to be. Looking forward to seeing some creativity here. I have also attached a Channel Art template that shows what YouTube recommends.
