Cross Platform I.M with addition of GPS and user interface

OneMotion Ltd is a new specialist employment business providing services to the UK and Europes' Logistics and Transport sectors. We at onemotion deal with specialist drivers transporting specialist loads and as a result; we are looking to improve communications between ourselves, the worker and the end client. Ideally we require a cross platform app that is essentially an instant messenger service and like msn, facebook etc, drivers will be able to select pre defined status updates ie "Working for onemotion" "Daily Rest" "Weekly Rest" Available to work" "Unavailable". Usage will need to be restricted from messaging contacts that are not part of our group. The requirement is for a desktop interface that can be accessed from our website, onemotion can update daily as to which workers are working for each client. Clients will be able to login to their client terminal (to be located on my website) and view all workers currently supplied to them on that day. As a result the client can view the drivers profile, contact details, send an instant message to the driver (of which the driver can reply and like bbm each message will display current delivery/read status etc). Most importantly, the client will be able view the workers gps location on a map and view their route history only for the duration of the day. The onemotion interface/login will obviously need to provide us wilth all worker profiles, gps locations and the ability to send IMs to individual workers, groups (as per selected status selection) details at any time. We would prefer that the apps are multi/cross platform however if this proves difficult or expensive then will launch with blackberry functionability only. We are not looking for the app to be published on "blackberry apps" and access will only be given to current clients and requires the ability to remove/restrict login authority if required. The clients will also be able to submit additional work request via a "Contact onemotion" option on their Interface. We are open to suggestions on how the idea can be optimised.
