Hello everyone, I am looking for someone to create a smart phone application for golf. The chosen bidder has to have some knowledge of golf to make this easier for myself to explain so that it is created with the golfer in mind and to make it easy for them to use. They will also have already created other smart phone applications as well for me to look at and feel confident with their work. The program will consist of an easy to use interface and written math formulas. The math formulas might be rather complex and this is why some background in golf will help for communication process. It might be your lucky day, GolfInstructionGuy! I'm a semi-retired software developer, who also loves to golf. I'm a US developer, and am quite good, but am often willing to take projects for rates competitive with overseas developers, just because I still love to code. I have multiple apps written for both Blackberry and iPhone, and have top-notch engineering credentials (Caltech and Stanford). My university degrees were actually in aeronautics, so I'm sure any golf-related physics you might need to code into the app would be no problem. My most humble qualifications would be my golfing ability. I'm currently about a 12 handicap, but have been as low as a 9. Still, not bad, considering that I play with my grandfathers' blades! I understand you need to keep your idea confidential for now, which is fine. If your idea gets too involved, my bid may need to be adjusted a little, but as I said, for stuff like this, I actually do bid competitively with the overseas crowd. And I'm just right across the Sound from you in Seattle!
