iPad and iPhone Word Game Development

Word Game iPhone and iPad development. We require a developer(s) to create a Word Game called Word Wrangles for the iPad and iPhone. The Word Wrangles application allows Users to search for words across different Word Lists. As users select a given word, Reference meanings and Media resources are displayed for that word. Users will be able to download additional Word Lists, Reference and Media resources as In App purchases from iTunes. The application also includes the ability to apply word masks and to create new word lists and references. An existing version of Word Wrangles is currently available and runs under Windows OS. To get a better understanding of how the Word Wrangles application currently works, please download and install a copy of the application from the Word Wrangles Web site. [login to view URL] To download, select Word Explorer and then Downloads from the menu on the left. The Word Wrangles Help File that comes with the program contains a detailed description on how the application currently works. Note : The current version only runs on Windows OS. The required application will be developed in a 5 phased approach. Attached to this opportunity is a high level design document detailing what needs to be created for Phase 1. You only need to quote for this Phase 1. A more detailed design document will be provided to the successful Freelancer to work from. If all goes well with Phase 1, we will look to continue on with Phases 2 to 5. We are wanting to work with the successful FreeLancer beyond Phase 1 of this project so are looking to build good solid foundation during Phase 1. The existing graphics shown in the attached Design Document need to be updated to a more interactive and visually engaging interface. If you can also provide the graphics and animations as well that would be a positive inclusion. Please note and include this in your quote if graphics/animations for interfaces can also be supplied, otherwise will we source the graphics and animations separately and provide these to you. I am happy to agree to milestone payments during the project development. These will be formalised with the successful Freelancer. All source code must be documented and provided during development. I am also a programmer and developed the original windows version of Word Wrangles and will review all code created as development progresses. I will also provide a System Test plan once the project is underway and the final design agreed to. We will also expect documentation to be provided with the final application such as step by step processes to upload In-App purchases for additional Word Lists, Reference and Media resources for download to the Application as well as to update the list of available Word Lists and References back to the iPad and iPhone. If you have existing work you can point me to that I can review, that would certainly assist with this opportunity being made available to you. In particular I am looking to see interactive and engaging user interfaces.
