A maritime company has a lecacy in-house application built on interbase and delphi. The current applications can be shared using a teamviewer session but only for limited periods and under supervision in order to protect data. The interbase database schema can be shared though. Most of the application will need to be reverse engineered as the original code is not availble but the stored procedures [login to view URL] are also a 20+ reports built using reportsmith.
The application needs to be migrated to Java EE 6 and MySQL.
Coding has already started and the project is layouted as follows:
- maven partent with pump, distribution, db model, and web app submodules.
- svn for config management
- jira issue tracker
- hibernate [login to view URL] for reverse engineering interbase
- netbeans 6.8 and glassfish v3.0
A resource is required to move the project forward. I envisage about 1 month fulltime. Payment can be broken into weekly milestones or as code is checked in.
Priority is to get all the functionality implemented now using jsf 2.0, later when richfaces 4.0 is released the ui can be upgraded as a seperate project awarded to the same resource.
I understand all your requiremensts.I am very much comfortable with all the requirements. With more than 4 years of experience in design and development of various components of JAVA and J2EE, I feel that I would be an excellent candidate.I am using netbeans for 4 years.I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my background with you further at your convenience.
