Hey , S3: Simple Storage Service. • Good Understanding in S3 buckets • Creating buckets in S3 and providing permissions to different AWS accounts and managing permissions of the bucket. • Enabling Versioning to store all versions of the object in case accidental delete occurs. • Adding additional layer of protection by enabling MFA Delete on a versioned bucket. • Enabling Encryption at rest to secure the customers data. • S3 Life Cycle Management to move the data to Glacier/Storage tiers. • Enabling Cross region replication to automatically and asynchronously copy objects across buckets In different AWS regions. • Creating Fault tolerant static website with S3. • Enabling Transfer acceleration to speed up the uploads • Cloud Front for dynamic and static streaming. • Knowledge in Snowball Elastic Cloud Computing – EC2 • Good Understanding on EC2 instances and their types. • Launching EC2 instances and applying protecting accidental termination of instances. • Adding tags to EC2 instances to save costs. • Using EBS with EC2 for different purposes  Provisioned IOPS SSD (io1)Volumes  General Purpose (GP2)  Through put optimized HDD (st1)volumes  Cold HDD (sc1) volumes  Magnetic volume • Upgrading EBS volumes types and size of existing EC2 instance. • Creating point in time snapshots to back up the data • Using life cycle manager for automated snapshots and customize to delete the EBS snapshots. • Attaching IAM roles to EC-2 instances safely and securely to access the EC2
