We have an app based on html an javascipt. (Electron app an website app) We want to get latitud an longitud for the users that use our desktop app and website app in the moment they login into the app or click a button, could be by ip. So we need the library or the best solution. The project is an employer attendance app for desktop an website IMPORTANT we are looking how can do this with out use Google Geolocation api get the geolocation in the electronjs project 15 days

Hello, I have read your project details and I can complete this project for you. You can use the HTML 5 API to get a users location. For desktops it woouldnt be as accurate, but it can be accomplished this way.

Hello You could get an approximation from the user's IP, but sometimes it will be as bad as giving you the wrong city... There's also the possibility of using WiFi hotspots to determine device location. That would require a lot of work if a library cannot be found. May I ask why you don't want to use the Google Geolocation? It is by far the best solution. Please let me know if you're interested in talking further.
