Android application for one of our website module

Elders Camp ([login to view URL]) started as a web based market place for senior citizens. Recently we launched our online meet service to allow seniors to connect with other like minded seniors in their vicinity or distance and share experiences. While there is a significant interest in elders to come online and seek new friends, they are sometime unable to manage profile and respond to new contact requests because many of them dont even use their emails actively to respond to notifications. Hence we would like to develop an app that has similar features as website, but makes the user experience better and simplifies the process. Following are high level features that we are looking for in the app. We request the app developers to visit and analyse our website for more details. The Elders Camp App will be first developed for only Android and then iOS It will allow elders to find other elders near you on a map (google enabled) It will be mandatory to create a Profile with picture (mandatory) to use the app (minimum fields Name, Photo, Email or Phone number). Later users will also be able to upload video profiles All new profiles will require an approval from admin before profile appears online. We might even ask to upload a government issued ID like "Stitch" does It will be possible to upload user's profile pictures with crop feature via mobile itself (e.g. Whatsapp) New users will be prompted to contact existing users in their vicinity after registration (via display of profile pictures) and they will also be able to search other users by location, hobbies, interests, gender, looking for (companion, friend, marriage, home sharing) Once the profile is complete system will perform automatic profile matching and send weekly notifications (or more if chosen by user) via app notificafion center (e.g. a new Match based on hobbies, interests, location and looking for) Users will be able to show interest (or accept new request) by right swiping the profile picture (tinder style), or reject by left swipe. If a user "likes" a profile, it will be added in his / her favourites and he / she can contact later (only after the other person accepts requests or also also likes) There will be no notification to other elder in case of rejection, but the user will not be able chat until other party also shows interest or accepts requests (same as Tinder) Chat messaging will be available directly in the app, but it will be possible to chat without displaying any persoal details (e.g. no Email, Phone or Exact address will be displayed anywhere), until it is explicitly shared by user No contact information will be displayed anywhere on app, only first name, age and location (google map enabled). All contact will be via the app only. There are a couple of more features but due to space limit we are not able to mention, we can discuss after the first responses. The app developers are expected to provide a formal quotation with timeline, costs and application architecture (hosting, interfacing, database structure, security features etc.) within a week from date of this email.
