USA based IOS developer required in San Fransisco March 10th - 20th, flight and expenses paid plus salary

We need a native IOS coder/developer with experience to join us at Autodesk from the 10th to the 20th March (two 5 day weeks). You would be joining our software manager Russell to attend Autodesk for the first cloud accelerator program which we were selected for. This partnership has taken us over a year to secure so it’s very important to us. It’s second to none professional development for the successful candidate. Our head developer is unfortunately not able to join us due to unfortunate circumstances so this opportunity has arisen. We are building out a revolutionary 3D scanning app which uses at iPhone 5s or 6 with the help of the Autodesk developers and their API's. The person who we choose must be able to take the current IOS source code we have developed, understand it and build on it with us during the program at Autodesk. You will be escorted by our head software manager who intimately knows the Autodesk API functions and features we would like to add to the app. The coder will be expected to take these ideas and help implement the code into the existing app. Our software manager is an experienced coder but not in the IOS environment. Basically you’ll be well looked after. Features we will be looking to upgrade during the program are: 1. Taking photos in succession from the HD camera and saving them to the photo roll. 2. Upgrading the authentication workflow between the app and Autodesk API (for greater stability). This will be worked on in conjunction to head Autodesk developers. 3. Adding some extra API functions to view and manipulate 3D meshes after processing. 4. Adding some basic UX to make it more understandable to an investor. Key features of the applicants: 1. You should feel really comfortable in the IOS environment (objective C) working with the features of the iphone 5 or 6. 2. The key is to be able to take these ideas from our software manager, help develop a plan to code it and then implement it in a hackathon style environment. 3. We are not expecting the coder to have any scientific knowledge about 3D meshes or Autodesk products, just to be comfortable working with API’s in general. What we will provide: 1. Our software manager is knowledgable on all things 3D mesh related and Autodesk API function related. 2. Our source code will be shared ASAP so the developer can decide if it’s within their capacity. 3. Subject to a successful outcome at Autodesk the high likelihood of an equity offer to continue with the project to completion. 4. Contract rate for this work will depend on experience and the likelihood that person wants to continue working with us. We don’t want knowledge to be lost after this. 5. The professional development alone has many of our network of developers interested however they are not located in San Fran so this is opening up the offer to locals.
