Hello,
We are looking to hire a company for the creation of a few ascx
controls to be implemented into a Sitefinity 4.0 website. The website
basics are done already and we could probably get the form builder in
Sitefinity to work, but we'd rather pay for something to be tailored
to our business. We have a surveygizmo account which is doing a poor
job of what we want.
Please let me know where I can send the full project details to. We
would like to start this almost immediately if the price is right.
## Deliverables
Mathnasium is an international math tutoring franchise that prides itself on the high quality of instruction. In order to improve this we are designing online course modules for tutors in centers to take to help them improve in there delivery of the Mathnasium content. We have build a simple website with currently 5 course that contain pdf manuals and a number of videos. We would like to add interactive quizzes as well. From a content perspective this is what we would be interested in:
The project would be to have a login system for
franchisee center instructors to take a quiz. This quiz will need to
be graded. We will need to have two layers of reporting on this data.
One layer would be to have the center director see which instructors
have taken quizzes, etc.. And the second layer would be for
Headquarters to be able to see and report on ALL the data across all
our franchisees. These reports will indicate things like, time taken,
attempts, etc.. Nothing too crazy. We would also like to have an
administration control panel implemented that allowed us at
headquartes to create quizzes and upload answers to have it grade
future quizzes which haven\'t been created yet.
Terms:
User- the person accessing the quiz interface, this could include someone taking the quiz (an Instructor), a Center Director who administers the quiz, and HQ who should be able to access system wide information and create new quizzes.
Quiz- this refers to the 20-30 problem multiple-choice interface designed to test the knowledge of a particular course, taken after the completion of written and video materials provided.
1. Interface - The way the online quiz module is presented
a. Account creation - a user (instructor) should be able to make an account
b. There should be a user -enabled (HQ) method for creating new quizzes
c. The design should be simple and easily readable with fields for user input - both text and through radio buttons as well as a way to submit the quiz
d. Once the quiz is completed the user should be able to see his results in percentage form
2. Quiz - a 20-30 question multiple choice quiz taken online
a. The quiz should be able to grade itself pass/fail based on the percentage of correctly answered questions versus the total number of questions
b. There should be a time limit for taking the quiz
3. Reporting - a database generated based on the quiz results that will allow the necessary information to be analyzed
a. Center Director - the CD should be able to access the following information for their center only for individual instructors as well as for his center(s) as a whole
i. Name of the instructor
ii. Date taken
iii. Score - number of questions answered correctly divided by the number of questions on the test
iv. Number of times the quiz was taken before passed
b. HQ - HQ should be able to access system wide information and generate reports regarding the length of time it take to take the quiz, information pertaining to specific questions, and a center by center and instructor by instructor progress report. This should include the above information in addition to the following:
i. Date Hired
ii. Compare the above information from quiz to quiz
In summary the quizzes have two components. Firstly, there is the ability to take the quiz and produce detailed information from the results of the instructor -- including date taken, name, and score. Secondly, there is the reporting back to HQ from all the centers participating. The added information necessary for this will be center name, date hired, and a better breakdown of the results. Ultimately, there should be a database where center directors can access information pertaining to the center and HQ can see the results of the system as a whole.
Can you please provide me with the following information: A point by point breakdown of the above with the estimated hours need to complete each element and the estimate cost. Also please include when you would be able to begin the project and based on the estimated hours when you would estimate completing the project. If you have any concerns or comments please feel free to contact me.
