Update VB6/COM/ASP/SQL Application (repost)

We have an application that is hosted in a shared hosting environment on an IIS server. The application is composed of SQL, COM, COM+, html and asp components. The app can be found at: [login to view URL] The system may be tried using: ID=tester and password=test We would like to update the software to be more compatible with todays standards. Update in order of importance: 1. Database -update SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 -improve flexibility of DB and software to be set up with different names and users (currently DB name MUST be "cdss"). 2. COM -migrate COM and COM+ components to .NET or some other equivalent (open to recommendations) 3. ASP/HTML -migrate from ASP to ASPX (open to recommendations) We solicit bids from programmers qualified in asp, html, COM, VB6SP2, and Microsoft IIS (as well as other languages) to recommend an update to the software. We can provide access to the server and DB as necessary. A successful solution can lead to further projects. Original Server Configuration: -Windows 2000 Server w/ IIS -SQL Server 2000 -MDAC 2.6 or later -XML parser 3.0 or later -Visual Basic 6 w/ Service Pack 5 (VB6 SP5) runtime files Custom Components: -COM: 2 -COM+: 3 ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
