Convert vstudio 6 c++ -> c++ .net

I have a regular expression library written in C++ for Visual Studio 6. It's based upon the Greta library from Microsoft Research. The final compiled form is an ActiveX DLL with a few basic functions: object = [login to view URL](RegEx as String) Initialize compiles the regular expression and returns an object that has the following 2 methods: [login to view URL](Text as String, ByRef Offset as Long) returns the first match, and sets Offset to the offset of that match .GetOffset(Text as String) as Long returns the offset only This is to be converted to C++ .Net, and it's fine to leave it as unmanaged code. It is only necessary to expose the same functions, but they must be direct .net functions without requiring COM interop. I realize that .net has built-in regex capabilities, but our application requires the ability to process thousands as fast as possible, and even using the COM interop, this is much faster than what .net provides. ## Deliverables You will deliver the converted source code and single compiled dll for both the original [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] 2003 (two separate projects). You will also assign all rights to any code you write to us. You will have 1 week to complete this, although it should only take an hour or two total. We will run our own tests for both performance and accuracy on the delivered code. ## Platform This must run on Win98 through xp.
