The project is a stand-alone video player for the iPhone and iPod OS with really small user interaction. The video are few .o3g or any other standard format (more than 2, less than 10 videos) and are embedded with the player (no server streaming and so on). Quick and dirty approach preferred since it is an exploratory project that need to be deployed on appstore quickly. Only the major coding is required (e.g. software logics, interfaces): graphics and multimedia will be internally developed. Fine tuning of interfaces (button size, position, look/fell of GUI) will be done also internally, provided the developer will adhere as much as possible to Apple guidelines to avoid App refusal. A development platform (phone/mac/sdk and knowledge to compile/deploy/provision the beta versions on the phone are available on our side. We also already have AppStore account and we will publish the App ourselves. ## Deliverables The application start with a configuration screen that may be then disabled and recalled with a button at later time. Very few text parameters are required in the config page. The "business logic" is straightforward: the user can play the embedded videos only following an hardcoded sequence. Videos are standard o3g videos, about 3-4mb each, that will be needed to be played accordingly with a small logic: the user can play first only the first video, others are locked (like multi-level games). Once a video is played, the next one is unlocked. Only a video-per-day is allowed to be played by the users. Before and after some of the videos there will be a session which will involve the accelerometer in a small interactive task (e.g. shake the phone until a progress bar is completed or an image taken with camera disappear). Very small interaction with a web site is required once a time when the user end with the full viewing of the videos (e.g. sending a string through an HTTP POST). The server side script will be developed internally, in PHP, to facilitate as most as possible the client side development. No more details can be provided without a signed Non Disclosure Agreement. Methodology: We can eventually provide access to our development portal. A Trac project with ticket system, SVN, and wiki for specifications is available to share requirements/specs and code upon a Non Disclosure Agreement is signed. Deadline are really strict, less than two weeks for the upload on the AppStore.
