**Request For Proposal** Our client - [[login to view URL]][1] has an ecommerce site with 50,000 skus. Our client is looking to implement a branded Yahoo stores called [[login to view URL]][2] This site is designed to appeal specifically to Corvette owners in California. Californiahas the most registered Corvettes of any state, and is our second biggest state in aggregate sales. However, as a percentage of registered vehicles, our customer base there could be much higher. We believe that targeting the state may attract a better market share in Californa and may possibly attract customers from other states as well. If successful, we could expand to other states. The task is to create a separate “url?? and a store interface using the existing [login to view URL] merchant interface. A good example of a Yahoo store using their shopping site is [[login to view URL]][3] ## Deliverables In terms of the Yahoo Stores, the proposal will include: 1. Create a unique web design that is both cosmetically appealing as well as efficient to load in various browsers. 2. Custom RTML. Template must be based on CSS. 3. Proposal must address search engine optimization. Design must create a store in a way that the site content is more easily accessible to search engines. 4. Breadcrumbs and Navigation. Must use breadcrumbs through out 5. Real time credit card processing integration 6. Process set up for updating content on the site Time line: - The goal of management is to implement 3 Yahoo stores that are ready to launch live by the 3rd quarter of 2006. The proposal should list a timeline with significant milestone dates to achieve this launch. **Additional Requirements** 1) Firm should provide a realistic estimate of time ranges and budget to complete the implementation and launch of the affiliate and data feed program. This estimate should be broken down by critical milestone estimates. After firm have an interview process to better understand the scope of the work, management is expecting firms to provide hard costs to complete this project. 2) Firm will provide complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement. 5) Proposal should create a “work sheet?? of best practices and steps for the first two years of the program for our internal team to follow. ## Platform Eckler’s web site runs on a Microsoft Site Server Commerce platform which mainly handles the check-our process. All other code is standard html, vb-script, and java. The site was designed completely in house utilizing internal resources. The site is hosted and maintained on location in Titusville, Florida. Eckler’s web site is set up to track sessions and return visitors. It is currently utilizing Coremetrics as an analytics tracking system. Eckler’s web site can handle gift certificates. It does not handle coupons. Note: Eckler’s site is not P3P compliant.
