Zen Cart, Stock with Multiple Attributes and Product Status

I have a live up and running Zen Cart store with some modification/add-ons, with no significant changes to core files. We need to have 2 features implemented in our store regarding controlling stock based on item attributes and the ability to set the status of a product, such as "on order", "Special Order", "back order "Drop Ship". Each product will have multiple attributes, color, sizes and an additional accessory to add. We need to track inventory thru attributes like the "stock by attributes mod" however we need the customer to be updated on the product page that the item is out of stock. For out of stock items/attributes warning text will need to be displayed or the option needs to be grayed out stating that the color/size combination is out of stock. We also need the ability to change the status of a product if the item is out of stock. For example, we would like to set the status of an out of stock item to, Ordered, Back Ordered, Special Order or Drop Ship. Lastly the mod needs to work with multiple attributes, example. Shirts availble in Red, White, Blue and Green, available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL and even possibly a third attribute for an alternate accessory such as an under-shirt (which will not need to be tracked thru inventory as it will be a separate product, but we need the ability to add as many attributes per item as needed). As for installation we would prefer to send over the files for modification and be able to install them ourself, however FTP/Admin access can be arranged.
