Simple, basic, macro action for personal website

Breif description: I have many media files (.wav, .gif, and .mp3) in a folder on my server. I need a system so that a user will be able to go through a page or series of pages that display these files. Each file must have a link next to it, that when clicked, performs the folling macro: 1. The file is downloaded to a folder on the user's computer. 2. A program (Which will already be installed on the user's computer) will open and perform a few actions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: I am going to split this project into two parts, A (which will deal with the website part of things) and B (Which will deal with the program/ marcro part of things). Part A: First off, I need a way to quickly organize all the files (such as by alphabetical order, etc). I also need an easy way to add new files, such as I just submit them from a form and they are all automatically added to the html pages, and accordingly create a "macro icon" for it. Every file should have this "macro link" next to it. Part B: When the "macro icon" is clicked, the following must happen: 1. the corresponding file is downloaded to a folder on the user's computer. 2. The program WebJal, which will already be installed on the users computer, will open. (You can download webjal program and required patcher here: [login to view URL] ). 3. The "OK" wil be selected automatically. 4. The file that was just downloaded will be downloaded to the phone (by clicking the button on the left, then choosing download on the right, then selecting the file). -I would prefer that steps 2-4 are all preformed in the background, and that all the user sees is the progress bar that will appear when step 4 is performed. This isn't a requirement, just something that i'd like to happen ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This system needs to work on windows xp. I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but I have a dedicated server than runs on linux.
