Goggle Earth Front End to SQL DB

We are looking for a solution that can overlay information from our SQL database onto Google Earth Maps in a real time environment. Server able to operate on either Microsoft Windows Server platform or Linux OS. Server Hardware to be scalable Database to be SQL based Database disks to employ RAID technology Data Structure is commercially sensitive although I can confirm it is currently stored on a database with a Raid 5 300GB capacity. Servers to work as either standalone or dual running architecture on physically separate sites Overlay content from an SQL database onto Google Earth. Content must only be viewable by defined users. Content is dynamically changing as the information in the SQL database changes. Users viewing the information will need an audible alarm as well as the icon changing colour. The number of expected users will vary from company to company but expect them to go up in units of 5. 5 will be the initial deployment and we would not expect more that 50 in the first year. Clients will be continually "logged in" and the screen should be refreshed every 10 to 30 seconds. Users log on to the server via a web based technology with http for basic access and java based applications for a more sophisticated (and chargeable) functionality. Maps are based upon Google Earth using all the features such as 3D visualisations of sites as well as placement of the site upon the map. <[login to view URL]> Suggest all Companies networks are held on a central server only accessible by authorised clients i.e. that company and the clients update the information on their Google earth screen from the central server managed and maintained by REMS. Secure login via either OpenID or Windows Card Space which is .Net Framework 3.0 compatible. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
