Movie Newsfeed RSS/PHP System

Movie-centric blog named [Film Rotation][1] that indexes the [headlines of over 90 film-news related sites][2] on one page. Headlines are pulled down once an hour (cron jobs currently do the deed) via RSS ([parsed via a freely available CGI script][3]) and a [custom PHP script][4] (sites without RSS). Here's what I want... A system that will pull headlines from either RSS or webpage once an hour and store them within a MySQL database. A series of scripts to customize the users experience in viewing the headlines. These scripts would include the following... 1) Data HTML display. 1a. Ability to select only certain sites headlines for display on the site.* 1b. Ability to search and display by term. 1c. Headline display system to integrate a "Brought to you by Film Rotation" banner system to keep our site front and center when clicked through (very similar to the looks of [this][5]). 2) Data RSS 2.0 display. 2a. Ability to select only certain sites headlines for display in an RSS feed.* 2b. Ability to create a search with results available via RSS. 2c. An RSS feed for every indexed site pointing to the banner system technique described in 1c. 3) *[Wordpress][6] integration. Integrate custom user features into the comment login system of WordPress (a popular open-source PHP/MySQL based blogging software). Required data to pull both 1a + 2a. 4) Admin system. 4a. Ability to easily add a sites URL to the system. 4b. Some type of notification system to warn when a sites headlines have ceased being pulled. Open for suggestions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Must function on all modern browsers, particularly IE and Firefox. Obviously, the coder should be comfortable with PHP and MySQL, as well as tinkering with code written by others (WP integration). All scripts can display as white page / black text (i.e. make it work - I'll make it pretty, later). There is no set schedule or deadline, other than my own impatience :) The current newsfeed page on the site is well-trafficked... this overhaul will cause it to explode. Full public code credit (via a link on all newsfeed related pages) is available free-of charge for the life of the services existence, if wanted.
