Advanced database programming/algorithm/mathematics

For this job you will need: * Strong relational and non-relational database programming and knowledge * Advanced level of mathematics especially statistics * Some PHP programming experience so you can demonstrate the database algorithm functionality through a web application. (This is not a PHP project however, it is a database and mathematics oriented project, you can use other language if you wish as long as it runs on a Linux environment and can be called by PHP) * Some medical background would be nice You job is to build a medical system, which takes several input parameters such as: age/sex/symptoms/smoker/drinker/present illness/height/weight And output a range of possible diseases and the possibility of each disease which adds up to total of 100%. The database will contain a disease table with the following data: disease name symptoms with percentages age range mean age age dispersion / deviation / sensitivity gender dispersion / deviation / sensitivity smoke dispersion / deviation / sensitivity alcohol dispersion / deviation / sensitivity BMI dispersion / deviation / sensitivity occurrence per million patient You will need to write a complex algorithm that analyses both the input parameters and the disease database and output possible disease with very accurate possibility score. The above specification is just an example, you will design a brand new system by yourself. After you have designed the database structure and algorithm, we can help you fill some simple example data to test its accuracy, or you can find your own data. We will NOT prepare the entire database for you to test. There will only be ONE milestone payment and will only be released after: * Good accuracy is obtained and full source has been uploaded to our server. Only bid if you accept the above.
