We require a plugin that can be used at events to scan tickets and mark them as checked in. We already use a number of plugins that create the tickets, and guests lists. The Events Calendar has the event details Woocommerce Tickets generates the tickets. We need a plugin that can be installed on Wordpress. Ideally the plugin will add a new button to the backend page that brings up webqr. When the code is scanned the plugin will check if that code has already been scanned, if it hasn't then the database entry will be made to say that it has, and the webqr will go back to waiting for the next one. This opensource code can read qr codes using built in webcams, and then pass the value to the plugin which will do the rest. [login to view URL] The barcode contains the security code. Search the wp_postmeta table where: meta_key = _tribe_wooticket_security_code meta_value = SCANNED CODE Return post_id as ticketnumber check if record exists where post_id = ticketnumber meta_key = _tribe_wooticket_checkedin meta_value = 1 If it does, then the ticket has already been scanned - failed. If it doesn’t then create the record above and return success
