Bursar in my institution wants a software with the expected features below, can the Odoo/Open ERP Software be modified to handle his demands: 1. Payroll module 2. Tax Module – Monthly/Annual 3. Pension Module 4. NSITF module – Monthly / Annual 5. Pay Slip Generation 6. Transaction Audit Reviews 7. Budget/Overhead management 8. General Account Payable 9. General Account Receivable 10. Customized Student Ledger 11. General Ledger (i.e Cash Book, Trial Balance, P&L / Income Statement, Balance Sheet / Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flow Statement, etc) 12. Purchases module 13. HR module. 14. Performance management module 15. Inventory / Stock System 16. Fixed Asset Schedule 17. Point of Sales 18. Multi-currency facilities 19. SBU Pricing Matrix 20. KPI & Information Dashboard 21. Management Information System 22. Financial Performance Monitoring and Reporting 23. Report Writer / Reporting 24. Security – Administrator and users/operators 25. Data extraction 26. Self service 27. Audit review module 28. Others, as may be needed to be configured The Software should handling most of the core functions of Bursary through the software’s automated capability features. Therefore, the Software shall be: a) For a multi-user (with a minimum of 30 users – which shall include Finance/Bursary, SBUs, Purchasing, Store, and Quality Assurance / Audit departments). b) Off-line as opposed to web-based to provide for operational controllability, confidentially and security of data, etc. c) Enable us to manage the entire organisation process from one central location (via LAN) while streamlining operations and improving productivity seamlessly. d) Serve as a central processing and communication point for all the activities in the organisation, with special capability to handle all administrative overheads, accounting and financial activities. e) A software that integrates all the essential activities of the business into one neat electronic package; while automatically funnelling all data into the general ledger to produce financial statements (Income Statement, Financial Position and Cash Flow Analysis). f) Have User manual available for the Operators.
