Looking for a company to do a social network similar to Facebook/Hanshakes script from scratch and improve the platform. (See link for actual features of handshakes: [login to view URL]) (See attachment for better clarification) Requirements for Platform Development: • It must be developed in PHP 5 and MySQL 5 • In case you are going to use: savanty or smarty templates, you will have to choose only one of them. One template for the whole platform. • The platform should allow to add applications but url or/and php in a very easy way—like facebook does with developers. • The platform should have a module that will allow to insert/include javascript codes to one specific page or all the pages. • The platform should have a module that will allow to insert/include CSS style sheets to one specific page or all the pages. • Php files must be organized by section, blogs, events, videos , pictures, ecards, chat. • There are section that will require to be logged in or not. The administrator must have the option to choose in the admin panel what zone within the platform would require to be logged in or not. • Create a module that will allow the administrator to manage multiple adds according to the different sections of the platform: front page, profiles, etc. • The php archives that connect from the platform with the database should be outside the platform for better migration of the site, etc. • The platform should be able to migrate from one domain name (url) to another by just changing the old domain name by the new one within an archive that will be called by the required pages. • There should be a module in the admin site that should allow the Administrator to change the website design: front page, profiles, etc. New designs will be allowed to be integrated in a very easy way to this module. • Drop down menus or bar/lineal menus should be managed and created from the admin site. • Sitemap for the platform. • RSS feature: that will allow to manage news from other websites/ and add information to users about the website. Features that have to be improved in the platform: • Platform should allow users to log in from all pages inside the website. When the user click on something and for that it is required for that user to be logged, then in a popup window should appear where the user will log in without leaving the actual page. • The platform should allow users to create multiple profiles. • Video player: like flash player like [login to view URL] (with option for different dimensions: small, medium, full page) o Powerful function of inserting Ad into video at any point-in-time. o Function of inserting "watermark" “logo” function. o Videos played from icons will pop up in the same page and while the video player is working the background gets darker. o Upload Bar o Offers a free video to flash video converter to convert video to flash video, enables you to add videos in all pop formats (AVI, MPEG, FLV, WMV, MP4, MOV, 3GP, 3G2, RMVB, RM, etc) o Different Skins to choose from for the video player (at least 12 different skin to implement in the platform –for ideas you can also visit [login to view URL], [login to view URL], the new youtube player, etc. I will give you few ideas for designs) o This player will also be able to play AUDIO. o Platform should have ffmpeg to transform flv and its thumbnail should be done via ffmpeg. o Multiple uploads for videos, pictures, audio. • Photo Album: users will be able to upload photo albums, edit, organize them and choose from different templates to browse them and make them public. o Users will be able to upload big files (2-3 mb) and the platform will compress them to 450 kb or 500 kb. (Image Quality and Size Defaults – The administrator of the platform (Admin) will limit the quality and size of images so that when images are uploaded, the platform will resize them to save space. Pictures will have three sizes: thumbnail=100 px, medium=300px and large=600 px. o Auto Rotate Images – Users in the gallery can look at information in pictures and automatically rotate them as needed. o Main Gallery Page Settings - The configuration wizard contains all of the settings for how the main Gallery page looks and acts including showing or hiding the album tree, search engine, or album owner, and what frames to show around albums. o Optional Binaries: zip, jhead, jpegtran - If you have these programs on your webserver, you can enable them to make gallery work better and be more flexible. o Gallery-wide Slideshow - enable or disable a slideshow that includes all pictures in the gallery o Commenting - turn off or on the public commenting system and configure it. o Album Defaults - set defaults for the way that all new albums will originally look • Store/Cart Implementation: users will be able to pay a membership to sell on the website. Once the whole project is finished, then my developers will check it out and will make sure that there is no bug in the system. Then, half payment will be delivered. The programmer will send me the clone version with all the improvements and I will install it in my own server, test it for two days and then, I will deliver the other half of the payment. (No money will be delivered in advance) Only a team of freelancers will be choose for this project.
