I had a Point of Sale software program developed for clothing stores. The programmer is now other-wisely occupied. The official Value Added Tax rate has changed and the software does not allow the user to change the tax rate. My short term solution is to reprint the tax invoice from a query that takes the data from the database and recalculates the tax. I have an MS DOS batch file that connects to an SQL database. It creates a text file containing the result. I want to print the result to a slip printer (e.g. Epson TM-T70)
