SMALL/FAST BUGS FIXING ON WordPress BASED WEB SITE [login to view URL] 21/01/2017 1. The site has a “videos” section that categorizes and lists all the videos available in the web site. The videos are link to streaming services such as [login to view URL], but not only. Links to the videos can be placed also in other part of the website, such as the right slider in the home page. At present the management of videos has the following bugs a. The background image for the video (youtube) is replaced with a grey blackground. Looking to the html code, for each link to the video two <img..> tags are added. This tags return a grey background that overlays the box containing the video thumbnails image. It seems it is a well-known problem of WordPress according to this article: [login to view URL] b. Currently, it is not possible to had streaming videos from web sites different than youtube. We need to add videos from other streaming websites. In this case, we need also to provide a background image if not provided by the streaming link and add on top of that the typical circled arrow indicating “click-to-play”. c. In the same section of the admin panel to insert new videos, the text field to remark the video has a trouble to manage hyperlinks: if a URL is hyperlinked in a word or a sentence, this URL is correctly inserted in the html text as shown in the same admin panel; but once the page is downloaded in the client browser the hyperlink disappears. d. It is missing the button “READ MORE” to open a devoted page for a video and read the full remarking text in case this is longer than the assigned text-field dimension. See the section “DOCUMENTS” to have an idea. In the “READ MORE” devoted page of a specific video, the box and link for that video shall be showed again on the left side of the remarking text. The text shall be around the image of the video.
