I have an old Joomla site that cost me way too much to have built. The site is my only vehicle to sell my products. My Captcha does not work and my state tax does not work well. The google analytics has not worked in over a year and my web person tells me he cannot help me with it. I need you to tell me what you can do to bring it up to date. The entire thing needs to be updated. I need to find someone that's experienced, reliable, honorable and very cost effective. If that is you please reach out. Hello, I pretty understand for the budget. But I still bid half of my hourly price. Well as I see its joomla 2.5 site using virtuemart. There are two options to proceed. 1. Apply updates to existing website - most possibly it will break since you have old joomla and as well as old virtuemart. We also need to check template must support latest joomla version as well as other extensions too. 2 . Install fresh joomla and migrate content over it. It looks little complex but worth it. Since you have all new files and only things you wanted. Use any of the latest extension, templates. FYI joomla 4.0 will be launch in December. So I suggest you if you are investing money kindly do it for that version. Else again you my need to upgrade it. And it seems few difference in joomla 3 vs 4. Yes, we can do one thing. I'll create a mirror of site and apply updates on it if it breaks just wait for joomla 4 else you can proceed. Thanks Raj
