Wordpress development & integration expert required for 6 month fixed contract. Four wordpress sites are in scope. The sites are in various stages of development & [login to view URL] tasks will include but typically include: 1. Designing overnight batch processing jobs to run using crontab in Linux / MS task scheduler and FTP uploads. Data fields & feeds will be supplied for data mapping. 2. Expert knowledge of wordpress architecture, configuration of key wordpress files and My SQL database / wordpress data field mapping. 3. Using knowledge of no.2 above, to make data field modifications, in order to efficiently modify fields as required without affecting system performance. 4. To integrate standard off-the-shelf wordpress plugins into wordpress. 5. To define/design WP ALL Import plugin, to schedule jobs in order to run seamlessly to perform automatic data uploads to specified sites using data imported from various. Data fields must be defined (modified as necessary) and standardised for scheduled data uploads. 6. To provide technical advise of how the sites should be optimised / developed to meet project requirements. 7. To provide on-going technical support to fix wordpress related issues and to theme updates where required 8. Must have expert knowledge of CSS to modify CSS where required. 9. Admin access to FTP, My SQL and wordpress will be provided. 10. Project tasks will be monitored via weekly s...e meetings. 11. Google Sheets will be use to manage project plans and status updates. 12. Regular communications (for progress updates) via freelancer platform required (taking note of geographic time differences). 13. You will be required to sign an NDA agreement. 14. Term is for an initial 6 months FIXED contract with monthly progress review. Fixed monthly fee is from $140 - $200 per month. Maximum fee is non-negotiable.
