Hi. I am looking for someone to write a piece of software which runs a host of scheduled searches on eBay and sends emails when required criteria are found. For instance, I may want the description of the item to contain 'Harry Potter 1st edition signed book' being sold as a Buy It Now for under £50 and the search to be run once an hour. If there are any results in the hourly search, for me to be emailed with the page of the search. I am not a computer programmer, so I am open minded about how this is done. I am looking to initially use this software for personal use, but with a view of eventually having it developed into either a website that people can subscribe to, so long as this proves successful, so ideally the software developer would have good knowledge of websites also. I have put a budget down, but this is because I had to put something. I'm not sure about the work involved, so would appreciate your thoughts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We are two young programmers, we had previos experience with php, database, javascript and website building in general, so we could build the website if this project proves successful. We can't provide a portfolio right now, but in a week or less we could build this base project. We think that the project is too expensive compared to the amount of work.
