Campaign Info: We invite you to participate at the experiment, where we try to understand conditions for productivity of software developers ([login to view URL]). Particularly, software developers that know how to program in general are invited to participate in this exciting experiment! The programming language is JavaScript, but as long as you know some language that is at least similar, like Java, C, Python, it will be good enough. Please do not participate in this campaign if you don't know the programming languages described above. Otherwise, your task will be automatically rejected. Important: This campaign requires knowledge and experience on HTML/JavaScript programming. Therefore, only Developers with such experience can participate in this campaign. Otherwise, do not perform this task The experiment contains one questionnaire and three simple sessions (tasks). Each task consists of a simple, incomplete HTML/JavaScript application. Your objective is to modify the JavaScript code in order to fulfill the requirements for the application. The questionnaire should take between 5 and 15 minutes to fill in. Each task was designed to take between 20 minutes and one hour to complete. So you can expect to spend around one to three hours on this experiment, but you may take breaks between sessions (tasks), of course. Preferably, all tasks should be completed on the same day. All tasks must be completed using the same machine. The faster and more accurately you can fulfill all of the requirements of each challenge, the better. 1. You should not use the help of any tools like IDEs or even external text editors (you can write the code from the web page itself), though you should feel free to look up information online, of course In the second and third assignments, you will be invited to make use of an online development tool designed to make software developers more productive. One of our goals is to find out how the use of such tool affects developers 3. During the second session you have to apply logical rules to sort items in a ToDo list by priority and due date 4. During the third session you need to implement a simple text analysis tool that helps find useful information about text using search expressions WHAT I NEED: VCode you received after completing your task
