Overview Phases 1-2 Remote Picture Server with PHP SSH2 Extension and [login to view URL] Wrappers NOTE Phases 3-6 are intertwined with Phases 1-2 WeBid is built to save files to the local server. When auctions are deleted corresponding directory and picture files are unlinked and directories rmdir'd. WeBid must be extended with [login to view URL] wrappers to enable WeBid to operate on files / dirs remotely. Use PHP SSH2 Extension module using [login to view URL] wrappers to perform remote making and removing of directories, remote saving and unlinking, renaming of files. Overview Phases 3-6 Expanded File Type Handling for Picture Gallery By default the WeBid Auction Server Photo Gallery allows only .jpg .gif and .png picture files to be uploaded for use in an auction listing. Phases 3-6 of this project will enable the WeBid photo gallery to upload several additional file types and create thumbnails of five new image file types. DOCUMENTATION Need documented in a plain text or [login to view URL] file all steps taken to complete Phases 1 through 6 of this project. Documentation will be reviewed after submission for completeness: ie using the documentation to clone a second sandbox server. 1 For code mods or configuration file changes document changes in "was" / "changed to" / "purpose of change" format. 2 List of all package removals and installations with complete command line code used for each. NOTE Documentation needed for server owner to clone this project when the server needs to be reinstalled or a new server needs to be added. NOTE WebHost Provider is 1and1.com. All three servers in the same server farm in the State of Kansas. Sandbox Project Hardware & Software Provided for Project Ubuntu 14.04 LTS / PHP 5.59 MySQL 5.5 / Apache 2.4 / SSH-SFTP Daemon / PostFix 2.11 1 SUDO access to all 3 servers 2 phpmyadmin access to central mySQL database on server CS2 3 login for jailed sftp user on picture server CS6 4 PostFix Mail with PHP mail() operational for notifications and testing on server CS5 5 WeBid version 1.1.2P2 stock Auction Script, installed with admin and test user logins on server CS5 6 PHP SSH2 Extension installed to enable file housekeeping with PHP [login to view URL] wrappers on server CS6 * WeBid Auction Script v1.1.2P2 is open source and available for download from [login to view URL] NOTE This script is installed and operational on server CS5. NOTE An alternative to the PHP SSH2 Extension method may be used at freelancer's discretion, for instance PHP seclib framework.
