i want to control and open lockers with nfc card 13,56MHz
for this project we will use
1 x raspberry pi 3
1 x 16 relay board
1 x pn532 nfc reader (used libnfc)
1 x lcd
16 x nfc card with different serial
------
we will need a program
a mysql database
------
data base will contain:
name, in location, card, locker
ex:John Doe, yes, 0001, 3
------
how it will work
for the nfc card 0001 belongs to John Doe
for the nfc card 0002 belongs to John White
for the nfc card 0003 belongs to John Jack Black
.
.
.
When John Doe will scan the Nfc card To rfid, the program will access database and
if "in location" = yes
then if "locker" = 0 (0 means that have a non alocated locker and the program can give him a random free locker)
rabdom generate a not used locker from 1 to 16 and give John Doe a locker (ex:3) and insert in the database "locker"
then start [login to view URL] hidden in background(this file will acces and open the relay number 3)
then
on the raspberry display will appear Hello John Doe, your locker is number 3
------
other example:
When John Doe will scan the Nfc card To rfid, the program will access database and
if "in location" = yes
then if "locker" = 3
then start [login to view URL] hidden in background(this file will acces and open the relay number 3)
then
on the raspberry display will appear Hello John Doe, your locker is number 3
-------
other example:
When John Doe will scan the Nfc card To rfid, the program will access database and
if "in location" = no
on the raspberry display will appear: Error
------
The LCD of the raspberry:
we will see a fullscreen white on the middle with our logo
if a user scan to nfc tag
then
on the screen will appear:
Hello name
Your locker is number: X
Then after 5 seconds the message will disapear and display only our logo
If someone will scan another card in this interval of 5 seconds the program it will generate him a random free locker
---------
other example
in location we have 3 person that have this locker number alocated:
for the nfc card 0001 the posesor, John Doe and have alocated locker number 10
for the nfc card 0002 the posesor, John White and have alocated locker number 13
for the nfc card 0003 the posesor, John Jack Black and have alocated locker number 8
and the person with card 0010, Laura Gina scan the nfc card the program will do
if "in location" = yes
then if "locker" = 0
read from database "locker" and generate a random locker (so it will generate a numebr from 1 to 16 and not the used lockers 10,13,8)
and give a locker to Laura Gina (example 15)
then start [login to view URL] hidden in background (this file will acces and open the relay number 15)
then
on the raspberry display will appear Hello Laura Gina, your locker is number 15
i read your raspberry project.
i can deliver your project exactly as you wish while i had an extensive experience with with rfid readers like :
- pn532 (libnfc)
- acr122u (libnfc)
- rc522 (mfrc522)
with raspberry pi and python and sql database .
while I am excellent at the following :
- raspberry pi
- python
- pn532 RFID/NFC Read/Write to and from cards using NDEF Format or native format.
- relay boards.
- Lcd screens
if you choose me , i think you won't regret

Hy, I can effective;y integrate RFID reader with Raspberry pi. I am an experienced Embedded System Engineer with 4 years of experience. Currently, I am working as an Edge Device Engineer in a top-notch AI company in my country. This is no my fulltime job as I do freelance side by side. I can work with a variety of Arduino Libraries and frameworks related to
_ESP32/8266
_Arduino Due
_Robotics
_Smart LED Solutions
_Simulations of games
_Toys and digital fitness games
My recent projects include:
IoT based facial attendance based Edge device with different sensors
Fitness game digitalization with Arduino, audio player and a couple of sensors
ESP32 based smart biopod solution for the simulation of an ecosystem for plants. (This project includes IoT infrastructure and ESP32 as processor for integration with sensors)
I will be glad to assist you in your current and all future tasks If you are facing any kind of problem related to Python programming project or troubleshooting or debugging of code as I love to have long future terms with my clients. Feel confident in hiring me and I will deliver you more than just needed with perfection. Waiting for your response. Thanks for your valuable time. Regards
Hello! Nice to meet you!
I have read your project carefully. I am very interested in your project.
I am a Microelectronics and Automation engineering expert. I have a lot of experience on ARM, FPGA, DSP, Arduino, Raspberry, PLC, PIC, ATMega and so on. And I can code the Python, C/C++, C#, Mobile App. I can do help you. I hope to cooperate with you. Tell me your opinion.
My regards.
i have been working in RFID technology for last two years i have worked UHF, LF RFID technology. i have experience working with raspberry Pi, Arduino, esp32 and have developed many project in related field . currently i am working with IoT where your requirement can be implemented very easily with local host, php, MySQL database. i can design web app also even raspberry Pi app .
Hi,
I read your raspberry project. I'm familiar with NFC/MiFare protocol and SOCs/SBC like Raspberry Pi, Banana Pi.
For the past few weeks, I have been working with RS485 Based Fingerprint Access Control and wrote my own controller in python.
I have done a lot of work with Python and IoT devices (Raspberry, Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, etc). I can easily get this done for you.
I just have a few questions such as.
You have a database with the following fields: name, in location, card, locker
How are you going to get the values of the name? I can see that card numbers can be read, and the locker will be assigned from the free lockers (1-16). I don't see where we get the name of the person.
Secondly what does "in location" mean here? how are we getting that value? when will it be 'yes' or 'no'?
Lastly, will I be able to use ssh to access the raspberry pi so I can directly program it? or will I need to program here and then send you instructions to run?
Let me know the answers to these questions and we can talk more details about the implementation and timeframe.
Cheers
Sajid Khan
"i read your raspberry project", Hi
I am interested in your offer because of the challenge it means in the integration of the different components they indicate.
I have worked with most of these devices and integrated some through software.
In my work I have had to integrate different devices either via cable or RF with embedded systems such as raspberry pi, owasys, onion Omega or microcontrollers (Microchip, Atmel, Arduino).
I have been programming solutions in C language for more than 10 years, from the creation of communication protocols to the development of programs.
