Name disambiguation, geolocation and name matching

Three things are required for this project: i) From a patent database, name disambiguation is required. For example, company names are written in different manners (Microsoft, Microsoft Inc, Microsoft incorporated, etc.) and should be disambiguated/cleaned in order to have a single reference for all the name variants. This disambiguation can be made using the address provided and the sector of activity of a given company in order to improve accuracy. ii) Further, from the address provided for a given company, the geolocation coordinates are required. Here as well, the address may be written differently for the same company. Hence, some cleaning must be done to get the geolocation coordinates. iii) Further, the cleaned/disambiguated names from the above database must be matched to the companies provided in other databases.
