Data ETL Project for use in Datorama

Casita is a US-based technology consulting and web engineering company. Our Client manages the ad-buying strategy for a large client using performance and spending data. Particularly: * they compare weekly ad performance to the same week's performance the previous year * they track channels that have aired an advertisement compared to performance * they track actual advertisement spending versus planned spending They receive this data from a variety of ad-serving platforms and it is currently processed through a variety of methods. ETL processes (primarily run through SSIS packages and stored procedures) generate tables which are viewable in Tableau. Our client wants to take the same data and have it fed into a different application, Datorama ([login to view URL]), a cloud-based visualization platform. In Datorama, they want to create dashboards for the three data analyses listed above. Datarama's pricing structure charges for numbers of rows of data and our client would like to limit costs. Also, our client has the strategic goal of not being tied to Datorama long-term. Therefore, the data warehousing and manipulation of data should be done outside of Datorama, using servers owned and maintained by our client. We'll conduct the project one report at a time. For example, we'll start with the week-to-week comparison report. From accessing the various data streams, manipulating the data locally, serving it into Datorama, and building the dashboard in Datorama for that first report, we'll learn lessons that would ideally expedite and simplify the creation of the subsequent reports. The successful Engineer will work with a team including a Project Manager, Systems Analyst, and Quality Assurance tester.
