Hi , I am a scientific Illustrator based in Portugal. I have a Licenciature degree in Biology, a Masters degree in Design. Although I just recently start working on Freelancer I have more than 15 years of experience working with Visual science communication for different scientific fields. I see you need to a realistic heart. For this work in particular I would probably use Autodesk Maya , 3D rendering and photoshop, but that would be chosen according with your preferences for the final art. I am attaching some of my illustrations as examples of the techniques I could use, but please see my portfólio to check other design you may like. Here’s an example of the timeline I’d follow to complete your project: 1. Kick -off meeting to discuss the project, deadlines and budget. 2. Deliver first sketch for approval (usually a black and white drawing) 3. Deliver second sketch for approval (color and very similar to the final render the client asked for) 4.
