Good afternoon, I have extensive experience using digital elevation models (DEM's) or terrain models in my work creating 3D groundwater models. For your project, the file need to be converted to a format in a GIS product to a format that Sketchup understands. I propose to use your terrain model in a GIS software to create both formats that are accepted by Sketchup, in different resolution so that you can choose between time to load and resolution. These formats are USGS DEM and spatial data transfer standard (SDTS). Best regards, John
