My VMware server is running Ubuntu. This server runs our FTP system (Called Zendto). I cannot see what is going on with the Zendto system because I can't get a Ubuntu GUI to work. I know nothing about Linux or Ubuntu. The GUI (I think it is called nautilus) doesn't run. When I try to use the startx command, it says "Command Not Found". I want someone to get the Ubuntu GUI running - when I try and install it, I just get errors. I also want the boot-up processes to be looked into because the system seems to be hanged after the last process was loaded (Apache2). Please do not bid on this project if you don't have the relevant experience. Many Thanks Duncan

I believe I will be able to help you assuming we are talking about Ubuntu Server at which GUI simply wasn't installed ever at all and the machine itself has 2D support. In this case it will take around 20-30 minutes of work. However if the GUI broke completely and it will need to be reinstalled then it might take a bit longer to fix (max of 1 day).
