We have an existing video format called ‘Backyard Travel Series’ that we’d like to do more of.
Backyard Travel Series is a 1min video that features A POV weekend exploration of ONE intriguing destination or activity in Asia, as a first-person experience of the entire 2D1N or 3D2N expedition, as if right there on location!
You may find some examples below –
Perhentian Island: [login to view URL]
Flores: [login to view URL]
Nusa Penida: [login to view URL]
Currently, these videos are 1min in duration and made up of images/videos from asset library. However, we’d like for this to be actually filmed and duration to be between 60s-90s.
We’d like to invite freelancers to propose some ideas and recommendations of “backyard” locations in Indonesia and Malaysia. These recommended places should be more obscured, places that Indonesians and Malaysians don’t really know much about. For example, Lazarus Island in Singapore, which at that time wasn’t very known to Singaporeans. These are the places we’ve currently covered for this series:
- Ipoh
- Perhentian Island
- Flores
- Nusa Penida
- Komodo Island
- Belitung Island
- Sabah
- Raja Ampat
If we like the places in your recommendations, we will commission you to film them for us.
Key Markets: Indonesia and Malaysia
Key Audience: Educated working women 25-34 with/without kids. Middle and high income.
Requirements:
- Freelancer would need to handle Pre-Production (including paperwork) to Post-Production.
- A+E Networks Asia requires any location/appearance releases to be submitted to them.
- Video output will be in MP4 (Specifications to be sent upon confirmation of project) and working files.
- Freelancer must be based either in Indonesia or Malaysia.
Budget is based on 1 x 60s-90s Video
