Gobal Film Project would like a filmed view from a window in Ivory Coast

We are leading a global film collaboration called 'Your Views' where we select people to submit a short film of their window view. The views are then edited into a film. So far we have over 450 views from over 100 countries. The view can be shot on a small camera, cell phone or something more professional and then the footage uploaded to the project. We are looking for someone to shoot a short film 20-30 seconds of a view from their window in Ivory Coast. The view can be from a work place or home etc. There are some simple instructions to be found on this website [login to view URL] or video we previously made here [login to view URL] or here [login to view URL] And art news item [login to view URL] The view can be anything as seen from a window, for instance it could be a busy street with people, a backyard, a cityscape or landscape, any kind of view that your window looks out on to. The idea is very simple; film a very short clip of either curtains or blinds opening to reveal the view from a window, preferably without showing hands or arms. The film is for an exhibition to be screened in Brighton UK from April 29th. The person chosen will credited as a filmmaker and their name will be displayed on a wall with the location. You do not have to be a professional filmmaker to apply but know how to film on either your cell phone or camera with filming facility. The cell phone or camera should either be on a tripod or surface where it cannot move. What I think is really amazing about this project is that it connects all countries and continents; it also challenges our pre-conceived ideas about what we think that country will look like. We have a little bit of a tight deadline and that is the first week in April to receive the film so we would urgently like to choose that person now. We are a micro budget film as you can imagine there are 190 countries in the world, hence we can only pay the small fee offered.
