Howdy Sir? i have done this many times please check my recent project. I am expert linux admin and web hosting provider i have 800+ websites hosted with us all i manage. Usually hacker access your one of web site and then runs a script on it to create sym links to other hosed accounts then he can access all the hosted accounts by hacking single account. He leaves backdoor on the account for future access once you remove all the malware and malicious code he again puts in your pages by those backdoors. If you have root access to your server i can also install antimalware tools and also secure your sym links so if an account compromises other accounts wont get infected.
