Require eCommerce Online Store to be built for a Kenyan company. List of requirements: 1. Visitor Section (Front end) 2. Administrator Section (Back end) FRONT END • Product categories: The most important element of the site is the display of range of products. To easily browse through the range, it is essential to have a list of categories featured on the home page. If there is any new category or sub category addition, the admin must be able to indicate it with a (new) symbol to attract attention. Example: [login to view URL] There must be scope to add, delete or edit any category or sub category. This should be able to be done in any language (if need be). As the site is responsive, great care must be taken in the positioning of the category listing. It must be easy to access and browse across all devices. • Home Banner: A home banner featuring the deals of the day must be present on the home page. Example: [login to view URL] This should have a scroll facility and must be dynamic. Deals may change very frequently. . • Product listing: Product listing across the site must be identical. It must contain an image, price, discount indication (if any), one line headline, like/share button, add to cart button, (suggestions welcome). The inner product listings may or may not have discounts. Each category may have approximately 100 unique product listings. Similar to Big Bazzar in India. Vector designs are appreciated. When visitors click on a product. The page of that specific product must open along with a larger image, price, rating, review, description and other hygiene information. Similar products or hot selling products must feature below and attempt to catch the attention of the visitor. • Purchase and Payment: Visitors must be able to add, delete and edit items in their shopping cart. The shopping cart must show the total items and amount thus far whilst the visitor is shopping. Visitors can add products to their wishlist and opt to be notified on any change in price of the products. On completion of shopping, international standards must be maintained at the checkout and payment gateway. Since the site is based in Kenya, it must be integrated with the briefed banks and must accept all possible payment methods. Shipping addresses and customer logins are a must. Visitors must be able to simply login and store their details once and securely. Social connect is also needed. A coupon code area must also be provided at time of checkout. SMS and email notification integration is needed at time of order receipt, payment receipt, newsletter, order dispatch, order delivered, order cancellation.
