Hi, I have been working on an OCR reader for a while using c#. And I am more than happy to work with your current system. I do have a few questions though: - Are you currently storing your images at the moment? In theory the video should store an image each frame etc in a directory. - Where would you be processing the images? This will have a huge effect if you wish to get accurate results. A lot of the OCR readers I have used have processing times of 1-2 seconds, depending on the quality. May be longer from the back of a car. I would be more than willing to provide you with my technical opinion on this matter as well as provide the coding to do so. The time given is a representative of my current work load. In theory I believe it could be shorter. If you are looking to run it outside a windows environment as well, I would recommend something like python. Again I could do this.
