Converga Website & Blog Development

This project is to develop a new corporate website for Converga as well as a blog. Please refer to [login to view URL] to see our current website. We already have a design completed, we are just looking for a freelancer to build it. The following key points should be taken into consideration when bidding: • Design not required; PhotoShop CS5 files will be provided to the successful freelancer • Website to be editable in Dreamweaver CS5 utilising Dreamweaver Templates for easy updating • SEO: Website should be optimised for search engines, particularly Google and Bing • Home page should include a feature area with smoothly transitioning images similar to [login to view URL] • No Flash should be used. • Separate Blog to be created so staff with minimal HTML/Dreamweaver skills can add entries to our blog – similar look and feel to main website. A commonly used blog such as WordPress would be acceptable, as long as we can have a custom look to maintain branding. • Pop-up contact form to be created similar to [login to view URL] (in the right menu). Specific fields to be communicated to successful freelancer once one has been chosen. • Similar pop-up style to be used for our YouTube videos ([login to view URL]). • Cross-browser compatibility. This website will be our main source of information for our prospects so we need it to viewable by as many browsers as possible; however, a mobile version of the site will be created separately and is out-of-scope for this project. The above points are the key development and design functions that should be taken into consideration for this project. All over minor specs will be communicated to the successful freelancer once one has been chosen.
