A testing ,practice and performance tool for school students preparing for their exams

The website will act as a testing ,practice and performance tool for school students preparing for their board exams. We would be be providing different varieties of tests for various topics So that the the student can have complete practice. We still have a lot of details to finalize, which we will be doing in due course, with the selected bidder. There will be three types of login ids a)Student login b)Teacher login ( for those who create tests and enter questions into the database.) c)Admin login *The personal homepage of each login-type will be different. Subscription Details (Buy a package) Initially, we would be providing Test series only for Maharashtra state board. But going forward, we need to include CBSE and other state boards too. So there must be a provision to add each board as a module. Each such module would have its own question bank and test module. So when the user decides to ‘buy a package’, the first option should be ‘ to select your board’ Next we offer him the various packages available for that board On selecting ‘Buy’ the user, is taken to the registration page(if he is not registered) with the message that “To Buy package, you will have to first register. “.Following registration move to the payment page. If the student has already registered then directly go to the payment page. Test execution module (taking the test) There would be two types of tests: PUBLIC TESTS and PERSONAL TESTS . Public Tests Public tests are tests that are set by [login to view URL] wherein the chapters, questions, duration start time and end time are [login to view URL] users would simultaneously take the test at the scheduled time, and names of the top performers would be recorded. Personal Tests Personal tests are those tests which are selected and taken by the particular user himself, for his own practice, at his own convenience. He has the freedom to select the topics and types of questions for the test, and decide the timing. Questions would be randomly selected. There would be 2 types of Personal tests a) General and b) Special General tests: This would be a mix of different types of question. The student would select the subject, chapters difficulty level and duration of the test. And then a set of questions meeting the selected criteria would be provided to him. Please start your proposal with (test) as the first word. Special tests: This would for some specific topics, or some specific type of questions. Here the user will select subject, special test and difficulty level .Once the user sets the criteria, he would be given questions only from that topic.. For some general tests and most special tests, there would be 4 difficulty levels, a)beginner (before he starts the test) b)Improver (after completing the first level test) c)Advanced (after completing the second level test) d)Expert (after completing the third level test) We need to display the user’s current highest level for each individual topic, and also his last 5 performances for that topic. Also note that even though the current highest level of that student in a particular topic is ‘expert’, he still must be allowed to take the test for a lower also,i.e he should be able to decide the difficulty level.
