SandBox Exe Tester Basic Functionality: We are creating a site to do sand box testing on exe installers for the purpose of detecting if they offer any other product within their installer. Example – When you install Flash or Skype, the installer offers you the google toolbar. Our SandBox tester would detect that Skype is offering the Google toolbar within its installer. Here is a sample of a site that does something similar – [login to view URL] The above site does sandbox testing on exe and finds out if they are dangerous or not. Our software is going to be a more basic version of this site. Instead of finding out all the things an exe does, our site will just find out if the exe offers any “advertiser” software. I would recommend checking out the above site in detail. How it will work: We will upload a CSV file what will contain the following 1) URL to Download exe installer 2) URL of site 3) There will be more data within the CSV file. We’ll send you a sample csv file for you to view. The site will upload the data from the CSV file and start sandbox testing on all exe’s present within the CSV file. NOTE: CSV file will have 5000 urls within it to do sandbox testing. Our software will multi tread and download several software’s at one time and start analyzing each of them. After analysis it will display the results for each software it tested. Each csv upload is going to be considered a project and the final results of each project should be 1) Saved on the server 2) downloaded via a CSV file. 1) We can send you a list of software “advertisers” to detect via reg keys.
