Our prices vary according to the number of speakers, the sound quality, the audio format, whether or not any speaker has a foreign accent or is difficult to understand and the time frame in which the customer needs the completed transcript returned by. For a 1-person presentation (clear digital audio with our regular return time), prices start at $65 per audio hour. I currently have 6 transcriptionists subcontracting work from me on a weekly basis, all of which have signed a confidentiality agreement upon hire and type 90 WPM or higher (I personally type 120 WPM) with a 99.9% to 100% accuracy rate.
