GetAFReelancer Developer will build a PC104+ based embedded microcontroller that can be accessed remotely via a wireless link. Also, you will need to program a Graphical User Interface for a Windows XP based system.
System components as I know them know:
-PC104+ CPU (I will provide CPU per GetAFreelancer (GAF) Developer specs)
-Analog/digital I/O (I will provide I/O board per GAF developer specs)
-10/100 Fast ethernet to connect my current wireless equipment to (Motorola Canopy) (I will provide PC104+ board per GAF developer specs)
-Windows XP program for GUI (GAF developer creates; simple GUI shows engine rpm's, shaft rpm's, fuel level, pump inlet pressure, and pump outlet pressure. On screen control of throttle actuator, and clutch actuator. My intent is to use a TabletPC (I have one) as the GUI screen and communicate wirelessly with the embedded controller via a program such as GoToMyPC or Anyplace Control.
Data Inputs that will be incoming
-fuel level sensor 4-20mA (I will provide sensor)
-pump inlet pressure sensor 4-20mA (I will provide sensor)
-pump outlet pressure sensor 4-20mA (I will provide sensor)
-diesel engine rpm sensor pulses (I will provide sensor)
-pump shaft rpm sensor pulses (I will provide sensor)
Data Outputs that will be required
-12VDC control for clutch engagement. I will supply electromechanical actuator with limit switches such as those by Duff Norton. The clutch engagement portion of the GUI will require on screen ON/OFF buttons and status indicators. Limit switches can be used for feedback.
-12VDC control for throttle control. Again I will supply electromechanical actuator as above. The throttle control portion of the GUI will require on screen "slide bar" control for infinite throttle position control. Again, limit switches can be used for feedback.
-PC104+ information output via ethernet for GUI
I am not a tech wizzard, so may not be able to answer the hard questions, but I'll work with you and equipment vendors to find a solution.
