I am looking for a simple app to be built that will auto start when I boot my raspberry pi the Raspberry Pi will be using a 2.8" touchscreen. The app needs to do the following What I’m looking for is a little gui which has 3/4 buttons and they will do as follows btn 1: copy all the contents from a CF/SD card into a folder on a USB HDD (new folder needs to be created with date and time stamp) btn 2: copy entire hdd to a network share btn 3: unmount/eject the cf/sd card connected btn 4: settings possibly (to config paths etc) the Raspberry Pi is running the raspberian weezey OS which is connected to a USB HDD and a USB Cardreader

Hi, I can provide you with the application running on :raspberry pi + pitft (2.8" touchscreen) When the raspi boots up, it autostarts the application,and you can use the interface to executeone of the 4 buttons(but I ll need more information about what kind of settings you need in button 4 ) I should have it ready in less than 3days. And the most crucial point, we have to know if there is already a Linux driver for your 2.8" touchscreen. Best regards.

G'day, I can create your app with the 3 first options easily in C# mono and test it in my raspberry (with mouse, because I don't have a touch screen, but it should be the same). The 4th button needs more information, because how do you will entry the paths with only a touchscreen? In any case, my bid is for about 2 hours creating the app, 1 hour testing and sending you a video and about extra hour helping you to set up there (following my instructions).

Hi! It can be easily done with shell script and yad/zenity/... I can create any menu (dialogs). It's will look as any GTK2 window. Can use GTK themes for change the style. The touchscreen will be configured with standard tools.

Do you require that this be written in C? Python? Both? If you don't require a language my inclination would be to use Ruby, but I can do it in any. Am I allowed to impose dependencies, such as rsync? I'm assuming there are 3 storage devices in total: 1) the onboard card containing the OS, 2) an external CF/SD reader which data is copied from, and 3) the USB HDD. What protocol is used for the network share?
