I need someone to write software for this solutions and spec some hardware. our requirements are as follows. ( Price must be kept in mind of hardware) 1. Arduino board hardware with wireless 2. Temperature sensor input (measuring milk) 3. milk volume ( pulse input from device) 4. LCD Screen 5. 2 x push button input all above will be housed in small enclosure , this will be one module for 1 x cow then we will produce as many units as we need for the applicable milk parlor so if there are 50 cows we will build 50 units and give the 50 units each an address number so that they can report back to the server which collects the data. The LCD screen must show the following, 1. milk temperature 2. milk volume for that milking session 3. unit network address wifi 0 - 255 The above data must be sent on wifi as string when interrogated from PC running C#

You would need an ExpressJS REST API on your server and each unit will hold an esp8266 wifi interface that reports and receives data when volume & temperature changes. The enclosure on each unit can be 3D designed and prototyped to create a panel with lcd & buttons. Each online unit can be interrogated from a PC through HTTP with C# application.

I can definitely complete this work. I have good experience and knowledge in Arduino, java,c#, network programming. I have done similar IOT related projects before. We'll store the data in SQL server which can be viewed via a web page. And the c# program you asked. For WiFi in Arduino, esp8266 would be the best option, taking price into consideration.
