We are developing 2Kw/3Kw/6KW traction motor controller for BLDC motors. It has HW and FW development involved. We have firmware which is running on the evaluation board (EVB) and can work with BLDC motor. Firmware has a functionality to start/Stop motor, Increase/Decrease the speed of motor). We use the FOC block given by the controller. When we moved to new PCB revision , we are not able to get the same motor working. There are no major changes from EVB to our board revision . Following are the changes w.r.t. two board revisions. 1. Three Current (U/V/W phases ) sensor module/IC is different ( Earlier Revision was using , New Revision is using ) 2. Layout is different (Earlier Revision dimension was : New Revision Dimension is : ) 3. Rest everything’s , schematic etc. is same. With new board , we have observations that , PWM waveform shows noise. Will this be reasons the controller is not working ? Will we need to retune the code to take care of new current sensor modules ? We are looking for consultant to analyse the problem and help us to resolve the same. Desirable candidate should have - Experience in power electronics Hardware and firmware development - Knowledge of FOC algorithms, Effect of PWM in driving power devices via Gate drives / inverter module etc. - Isolate issue at board level in hardware and /or system level in firmware

I am LAVLIT, and I am excited to introduce you to the project that requires your help! We are developing 2Kw/3Kw/6KW traction motor controller for BLDC motors. When we moved to new PCB revision, we were not able to get the same motor working. There were no major changes made from EVB to our board revision. However, three current sensor modules/ICs were changed (previously used version was with U/V/W pinouts, while new version requires V/W). Additionally, layout of the PCB was modified to make room for additional components on the board. As part of the project, we need someone who can analyze the problem and help us resolve it. Currently working and doing research on bldc motor control. Yes you need to retune the code but I'd like to see the changes that you've made in the layout too. Current is circulating in wrong areas i suppose.
