This is an IEEE based project , very recent . Need someone with a good idea in image processing. Would be nice if they have a slight idea of medical works based on image processing. Abstract is as follows - Patient death ratio because of lung cancer is much higher than other types of cancer. Early detection is a must to take effective steps towards curing this disease. Medical researchers have proven that in most of the cases nodules or mass tissues in lung is an indication of lung cancer. Detection of these abnormalities at an early stage can help doctors to take proper steps towards curing this disease. The aim of this study is to make an intelligent semi-automated system that can assist detection of lungmass tissues from X-ray of chest. Simple image processing techniques like morphological operations, template matching etc. are used here which made the proposed method easily implementable, resource effective and efficient. A test on JSRT image database using this method shows accuracy and precision of 76.12% and 76.16% respectively.

Hi, I have extensive experience in software development, including image processing, and so feel more than able to complete this task. Some further detail of your goals would be good, however it seems that a c++ program to do the following might be helpful to you: -open image file -perform morphology -add results to template database Then another c++ program to process other images might do the following: -open image file -perform morphology -compare to template database Some experimentation with search parameters and will be necessary for an optimum solution. To complete this work I estimate around 10 hours, at INR 2800 per hour comes to 28000 INR. as I am new to freelancer.com, I would like to complete my first few projects soon, and so will charge 20000 INR for this project (plus the 10% freelancer fee). I suggest two stages: stage 1: provide first program, source, and full instructions to open am image, process, and add to template database stage 2: provide second program, source, and full instructions to open am image, process, and compare to template database -I'll provide stage 1 within 3 days of being awarded the project -If happy with stage 1, I ask that you pay 50% of my fee -I'll provide stage 2 within 3 days of being paid 50% -If happy with my final work, I ask that you pay the remaining fee, otherwise we work out what further is required if you have any comments or questions, I look forward to hearing from you. regards, Mike
